"Poy" is the short animated film I am producing in my third and final year of
studying digital animation at the University of Hertfordshire.
The film is a work in progress, scheduled for completion in May 2009.
This blog is being updated frequently with my development process on the film.
Synopsis
This animation takes place in a strange world where the souls of the dead take the form of fish.
On the "day of the dead" festival these fish swim down from the sky and through the city in which the main character resides, a girl
whose Mother has passed away. Upon spotting her Mother's soul swimming past she takes it upon herself to catch it in hope of bringing her back to life.
